Tavira is Versatile

Tavira has it all

On walking distance or within a short ride.

Your apartment has the optimum location. Free parking, a quiet and safe location.

Within 150m you walk into the old town of Tavira, the pearl of the Algarve. Explore it or take the ferry to Tavira Island.

Bars and Restaurants

Plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance and close by! Next to the Roman Bridge you will find several cafe’s and bars, including a winestore with outside service and very good icecream in the same shop! The terraces offer all day ambiance with morning sun and afternoon shadow. To start the day up, take a ´bica´ (small coffee) and a ´pastel de nata´ (traditional sweet pastry, based on cream and dough) as the Portuguese do. One of our favourite places in that respect is ‘Tavirense’, two corners away. ‘Tchin-cheese’ in the Rua da Libardade (main street) is a lovely winebar (French owners) for an aperitif and offers some excellent cheeses.

Other bars to remember
  • Bar 22 Tavira
  • Irish Pub Tavira, both on the waterfront
  • Rooftop Bar Nomad, Hotel Maria Nova
  • And many more

In the immediate area are 3 excellent golf courses to the east of the town.
